I’m a humanist celebrant specialising in beautifully bespoke & gorgeously joyful ceremonies for lovely couples like you.

Firstly, the biggest congratulations on your engagement! I’m so excited that you’ve found me on Love My Dress. You must be searching for the suppliers that are going to help you create the most beautiful wedding day & memories that will stay with you for a lifetime. What an honour that you are considering me to be part of that line-up.

Am I the right celebrant for you?

I’m a storyteller by trade, having worked in communications for massive British brands for the best part of a decade. I’ve got bucketloads of experience in creatively crafting & presenting compelling stories, but no story is better than a love story.

I firmly believe every love story deserves to be properly celebrated, especially on your wedding day whilst making the most wonderful commitment, surrounded by all the people you love the most in the world.

My ceremonies are for the down-to-earth couples; the ones who know that romance is in the every day; a cup of tea in bed, a meme you know will make them do that funny snort, cuddling up to watch the next episode together…

Your love doesn’t have to be loud to be worthy of a personal, unique wedding ceremony.

You may not relish being the centre of attention, but you deserve to be truly seen by the person who is going to marry you, not someone you just met who is using a script that’s been used thousands of times.

I create entirely bespoke ceremonies that feel warm & cosy – like home. My couples enjoy every moment of their ceremony, because every moment is created just for them.

We don’t have to include sing-a-longs or elaborate rituals or lots of noise. Your ceremony should echo your relationship; it can be beautifully calm, with just the right amount of romance & humour weaved through it.

Whatever it looks like & whatever it includes, your ceremony will be special because it’s yours & yours alone. I can guarantee your guests will love it just as much as you will & they’ll be talking about it for ages after!

How it works

We work hand-in-hand to ensure your ceremony reflects exactly who you are as individuals & as a couple.

Throughout our time together I’ll be entirely invested in your story & totally on board with the vibe you want on your big day. So, by the time you’re standing up there in front of all your favourite people, you’ll have utter confidence in me & the ceremony we’ve created together.

This starts with a no-obligation vibe-check call, followed by a cosy date night & a juicy planning meeting (or a few).

You won’t catch me sending out a long questionnaire to add to your never-ending “wedmin” pile. The time we spend together planning your ceremony shouldn’t be a chore, it should be just as enjoyable, stress-free & joyful as the ceremony itself. I’ll ask you the questions that matter; the ones that actually help me see you & your love. No fluff.

Once I’ve got all the good stuff I need, I’ll go away & craft your ceremony entirely from scratch. No template, no ‘insert names here’. We can exclude or re-imagine any tradition that doesn’t resonate with you as a modern couple. Every single word & action is intentional & specifically chosen to celebrate your love. Together, we’ll tweak it until it’s absolutely perfect.

You may decide to write personal promises to one another. This can be a really lovely, meaningful part of wedding planning & I’d be more than happy to help you with this. However, if the thought of it fills one – or both – of you with dread then it’s definitely not something you should feel pressured to do. We’ll work together to find the right way to mark your commitment & I’ll give you plenty of options on how that can be delivered – it will feel no less personal or memorable, I promise.

I’m very happy to do a rehearsal at your venue, or at home, before your day. By this point you’ll be feeling excited & in very safe hands ahead of your ceremony, but it’s a great way to settle any lingering nerves, so you can fully relax & enjoy the real thing.

I’ll turn up early on the day, ready & raring to go. I’ll bring your bespoke vow booklets with me (if you decided to write personal promises) & reading booklets. I’ll have a catch up with all the
important people & make sure everyone & everything is in the right place before go time.

I’ll then get marry you & it’s likely that you’ll feel the biggest rush of happiness & joy you have ever felt in your lifetime.

You’ll receive a keepsake copy of your ceremony, alongside your bespoke vow & reading booklets, so you can re-live that feeling again & again.
