We’re Jake & Sophie, a couple based in Devon and Cornwall, capturing love stories with a documentary approach and a refined, editorial touch. Our work is rooted in authenticity – honest, emotive storytelling with images that feel effortless, natural, and timeless.

With Jake’s background in photojournalism and Sophie’s creative eye for detail and content, we ensure every moment, from the atmosphere to the smallest touches, is preserved with care and artistry.

What is your approach to wedding photography?
We take a documentary approach with an editorial edge, capturing natural, unposed moments as they happen while also creating timeless, refined portraits. We want your gallery to feel authentic, full of genuine emotion, and beautifully curated without ever feeling staged.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely! While we’re based in Devon and Cornwall, we’re more than happy to travel across the UK, and beyond to capture your day. Whether it’s a coastal celebration, countryside gathering, or a destination wedding, we’ll be there.
Do you work as a team?
Yes! Fox and Co is run by us, Jake & Sophie. Jake leads photography on the day while Sophie brings her creative eye for content and detail. Depending on the package you choose, Sophie can either assist as a second photographer or capture content for social media highlights, meaning nothing gets missed.
Will you help us to feel comfortable in front of the camera?
Definitely, most of our couples aren’t used to being photographed and tell us they’re a little nervous. We keep things relaxed and fun, gently guiding you when needed but mostly letting you just enjoy each other. The result is natural images that feel like you.
Do you offer albums or printed keepsakes?
Yes – all of our couples receive a bespoke USB with their images as standard. Our higher collections also include thoughtful extras such as mini prints, delivered on the night of your wedding, and a luxury hand-crafted album. Albums and prints can also be purchased separately at any time, giving you the flexibility to choose how you’d like to preserve your memories.
Can we meet you before booking?
Of course! Choosing your photographer is such an important decision. We’re always happy to hop on a call to chat through your plans, answer any questions, and make sure we’re the right fit for you both. Many of our couples also choose to have an engagement shoot with us, which is a great way to feel comfortable in front of the camera before the big day.
