Frequently Asked Questions
What’s included as standard in your wedding coverage?
Your experience begins with planning that respects your schedule and light. On the day I guide portraits with gentle direction, keep the rest candid and elegant, and manage after-dark scenes with refined flash. Every commission includes a 48-hour preview so you can relive key moments while you’re still celebrating. Collections are built around real timelines—Editorial Eight (up to 8 hours) and Signature Day (up to 10 hours)—with bespoke/multi-day options available after our call.
What’s the difference between “Editorial Eight” and “Signature Day”?
Both collections preserve the same editorial quality. Editorial Eight works beautifully when logistics are compact—think a city ceremony, portraits nearby, and a single reception space. Signature Day extends to 10 hours, creating space for slower mornings, room changes, longer portrait windows or elaborate evening moments. I’ll advise which structure fits once your venues, travel time and speech schedule are clear.
How quickly will we see our photos?
I believe in momentum. A curated highlight set lands within 48 hours so you can share the story while it’s fresh. The full gallery—edited for natural tone, elegant colour and consistent finish—arrives in 3–5 weeks. For complex multi-day commissions, I’ll confirm the exact timeframe on your proposal.
What’s your on-the-day approach?
I limit commissions to give you unhurried attention. On the day I’ll anchor two short portrait windows (often after the ceremony and at sunset), keep group photos efficient, and stay discreet so you can be present with your guests. I work comfortably with planners and venues, sharing timeline notes and recce details to protect the flow of service. After dark, I use refined flash to preserve atmosphere without harshness.
Do you travel for engagement sessions?
If you’re dreaming of Paris backstreets or a windswept coastline, I offer an extended Travel & Adventure Session with flexible timing for travel and storytelling. We’ll agree the route, transport windows and any permits with your planner; your proposal sets out coverage, travel and expenses transparently.
Do you work with a second photographer?
Not every day needs two photographers. For large guest counts, split mornings or limited movement windows, a second can be useful. If recommended, I’ll provide a trusted professional with matching style and manage them seamlessly.
Can you photograph church weddings as well as town halls and hotels?
Every space asks for different light handling. Churches reward natural-light discipline; town halls and hotels demand efficiency and refined evening flash. Browse portfolio and stories to see this across venues.
