Ian creates wedding photographs that feel vibrant, full of feeling and completely true to the couples he works with. His images have an easy, relaxed quality that lets people be themselves, so the joy, humour and closeness you see is always real. He has a brilliant instinct for catching the moments that matter, even the quick, quiet ones, and his colours and compositions bring a sense of warmth, honesty and emotional depth to every wedding he documents. We adore his work.

I’m Sidey Clark, a London-based wedding photographer and I create beautiful, relaxed, and honest photography, capturing the moments you might not remember, but will want to keep and relive forever.

Over the years, I’ve photographed weddings across the UK and abroad with couples who want their day documented in a way that feels genuine and true to them.

Gathering all your favourite people in one place, at one moment in time, is something truly extraordinary, and it’s exactly what inspires me every time I pick up my camera.

My aim is to capture the real story of your wedding day, the emotion and the connections that matter most, in a way that feels personal and true to you, creating images filled with joy and love.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you travel for weddings? Yes, absolutely. I photograph weddings all over the UK and abroad. Whether you’re planning an intimate city celebration or a destination wedding, I’ll work with you to make the logistics as simple as possible.

For Travel within 20 miles of the M25 is included. For weddings further afield in the UK, there’s a flat £250 fee to cover travel and overnight accommodation.

For weddings taking place outwith the UK, travel and accommodation costs will be added to your package. This usually covers flights, transfers, and a minimum of two nights’ accommodation close to your venue and pricing confrimed before booking so there are no surprises.

How would you describe your style?

Relaxed, colourful, and documentary in approach. I focus on the real moments and emotions of your day, capturing everything as it naturally unfolds, with just a little gentle direction when/if needed.

When will we receive our gallery ?

I know how excited couples are to relive their day, so I’ll send you a small preview gallery within 24 hours of your wedding. It’s the perfect way to enjoy those first memories while everything is still fresh. Your full gallery will then be ready around 6–8 weeks after your day, beautifully edited and ready to download, share and print.

We’re not sure how long to book you for, can you help?

Of course. Every wedding runs a little differently, so I’ll happily chat through your plans and help you decide on the coverage that feels right. I offer a range from 2 hours of coverage all the way through to 12 hours, so whether you’re planning a simple town hall ceremony, a full day of celebrations, or something in between, there’ll be an option that suits you. For multi-day weddings or destination celebrations, I can also put together a bespoke package to make sure every important moment is captured.

I’m a documentary-style wedding photographer based in South East London, where I live with my partner Jon. We met while backpacking in Australia and have been adventuring together ever since. My love for photography began with travel, but it was a Scottish wedding in 2013 that made me realise how much I adore capturing love stories. Weddings are full of joy, emotion and connection, and it is always a privilege to be there with my camera.

“We met a few photographers before we came across Ian, and on our first interaction we knew he really got our vision for the wedding, got us, and we instantly warmed to him – already grateful for the tips and ideas he shared during that initial call. During the visit run-through he again gave such great suggestions – really thinking through lighting, where the best place to do the ceremony was (spoiler: a way better spot than we had thought of), decoration ideas. We are SO happy with the beautiful photos – they capture the fun, the chaos, the feels, and were worth every penny.
