I created Love My Dress in 2009, not long after my own wedding. It began as a personal project and gentle space to share everything I’d fallen in love with along the way. Over time, it has grown into one of the most trusted and respected independent wedding platforms in the world.

I strive for Love My Dress to be a space where modern women and individuals feel seen, inspired and uplifted. Where authentic and meaningful moments of real wedding joy sit alongside imaginative expressions of fashion, design and style, shared through exquisitely produced editorials. Our content is intended to spark creativity and inspiration, while also encouraging you to stay grounded, connected and present – to step away from the constant scroll and create space for what truly matters.

In a world increasingly shaped by A.I. and the overwhelm of noise, automation and urgency, we remain devoted to something slower, deeper and innately human. We believe in protecting the sacredness of human connection, human artistry, craftsmanship and stories shaped by lived experience. Thoughtful storytelling, creative intention, beauty that isn’t mass manufactured, emotional truth and love. These are the things endure and they will always guide us; we share only what stirs our hearts and we honour every real wedding we feature with reverence for its beauty, meaning and love.

Love My Dress continues to be a deeply personal project, though these days, I’m supported by a small, dedicated team who help make it all possible. Together, we are incredibly proud to support and champion creative wedding businesses who share our values; flower growers and floral designers, photographers and filmmakers, designers, venues, creators and makers who care and create with intention. Our Wedding Directory – a fully curated resource, brings together exceptional talent and beautiful ceremony and reception spaces from across the UK and around the world – each business personally chosen and appreciated for who they are and how they work.

I live and work from home in rural North Yorkshire with my husband and business partner Philip and our two daughters. Our eldest daughter is now at University.

Philip runs Moonwind Flowers, our sustainable flower farm and seasonal floral design studio from home too. Working alongside him to bring beauty to weddings is one of my greatest joys. We have five beloved dogs and plenty of space for them to run round outside.

I love to walk, meditate and be outdoors as much as possible. I’m also passionate about photography and love getting lost in long-form podcasts and thoughtful reads. My favourite listens explore culture, philosophy, spirituality and wellness. I love those deep and meaningful kind of conversations about what it is to be human, over endless cups of loose leaf tea.

I love to travel – New York is my favourite city and I hope to visit Japan one day.

I believe family is more important than anything and that love holds the power to heal all wounds.

Back in 2013, I had a book published which is as beautiful and relevant today as it was then. It’s called Style Me Vintage Weddings and is available in all good book stores and on Amazon.
